The Story

Based on the 2003 movie of the same title, School of Rock, is the story of a hard-on-luck rockstar, Dewey Finn. Falling behind on his rent, with a broken band, his dream is to get one last chance at the ‘Battle of the Bands’. He assembles an unlikely motley crew of band members, the nerdy students at Horace Green, where he gets a job as a substitute teacher. The story explores various contemporary themes like talent, parent-child relationships, and perseverance for a creative ideal.

The students who have never been heard by their parents and whose life revolves around academics find themselves taking to rock music like fish to water!
