A Christmas Carol NYC: Broadway Story
John Kevin Jones portrays Charles Dickens in this exciting format of A Christmas Carol. The one-man show is an intimate tête-à-tête where Charles Dickens narrates his famous story, A Christmas Carol. The production is more than just a reading of the novel; it brings to life the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. The classic tale of A Christmas Carol is about the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who is immune to the Christmas spirit and responds to any Christmas greetings with a scorn-filled ‘Bah, humbug!'
Scrooge is haunted by his deceased business partner and three spirits – The Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future, who show him what he has lost over the years and his grim future. The experience is not lost on him, and Scrooge wakes up a changed man, filled with generosity and the Christmas spirit.
