Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?: About The Show

The show name is a play on the song “Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?” from Walt Disney's Three Little Pigs, only substituting it with celebrated English author, Virginia Woolf. The play stands ahead of its time in challenging society’s perspective about a perfect marriage -- all the while playing with themes of reality vs. illusion.
Two-time Tony Award and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, and Rupert Everett star in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? This production also stars Russell Tovey and 2019 Olivier Award winner, Patsy Ferran.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? has been directed by two-time Tony Award winner, Joe Mantello, also known for his work on notable Broadway productions Wicked and Three Tall Women. The production will feature scenic design by Miriam Buether, costume design by Ann Roth and lighting design by Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer.
