Stalls

The stalls fan out away from the stage, getting wider towards the back of the auditorium. There are two half aisles dividing the seating into three sections at the rear. The section is well-raked, giving clear views of the stage over the heads of the audience in front. The stage is quite high, so people in the first row may have to look up, but these are currently sold as lottery seats.

There are some restricted views from the first and final seats in rows N-T. Whilst the stage is still visible, these seats do feel quite far to the side and look at the stage from an angle. The final rows have the overhang of the level above in view, but this only obstructs the very top of the stage.

Circle

The dress circle is similar in layout to the stalls, with three blocks of seating. The whole section is steeply raked, giving clear views over the top of the audience in front, though it may not be suitable for Vertigo sufferers. There is a safety rail at the ends of each stairwell, which limits the views from aisle seats in the first three rows.

Seats towards the centre give the best views of the stage, but those towards the sides of the auditorium also look directly at the action. The back of the dress circle feels high but due to the size of the auditorium, does not feel too far away. The entire stage is always in view from these seats.

In the stalls section, Row E seats 27-32, row F 15-31, row G 15-32 and row H 15-33 are marked as ‘Premium’ seats. From these seats you will have a perfect view of the stage. On the other hand, Row A seats 18-29, row B 18-29, row C 19-32 and row D 18-33 are considered to be the best in the dress circle section. Please note that all the seat options listed above are also amongst the most expensive seats in the theatre.
