Nederlander Theatre Orchestra

The Nederlander Theatre Orchestra has 18 rows in total, starting from AA and ending with Q with about 596 seats. Per usual, the seats are divided into three subsections namely, left Orchestra, center Orchestra, and right Orchestra.

The left Orchestra subsection seats are odd numbered and fall in the range of 1 to 27. There are 3 box seats, marked left boxes, also available in this section. The center Orchestra subsection comes next. This subsection is the biggest with consecutively numbered seats in the range of 101 to 114. Finally, there’s the right Orchestra with even numbered seats in the range of 2 to 28. Similar to the left Orchestra, this subsection also has a set of 3 box seats on its right.

Nederlander Theatre Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is the only elevated level in the theatre with about 562 seats. While considered one section, these seats can be divided into front Mezzanine and rear Mezzanine given that an aisle clearly separates them.

The front Mezzanine has 198 seats spread across five rows, AA to EE. These rows are further divided into three sections, left, center, and right. Given the elevation and lack of obstruction, this section holds some of the best seats in the theatre, especially in the first couple of rows. The rear Mezzanine has 364 seats in total, making it much bigger than the front Mezzanine. This section has 10 rows in total, starting from FF and ending at PP. The rear Mezzanine section holds some of the cheapest seats in the theatre since it’s the farthest from the stage.

In the Mezzanine, both front and rear, the left Mezzanine section has odd numbered seats in the range of 1 to 29, the right Mezzanine has even numbered seats that fall in the range of 2-30. Seats in the center Mezzanine are consecutively numbered in the range of 101-115.

Which Seats Offer The Best View?

Given that there are about 1,232 seats in this theatre, we understand the temptation of just booking whatever seats are available. But pick the wrong seats and you’ll end up watching the show from the literal sidelines. To help you make your viewing experience special, we have handpicked the best seats in this Nederlander Theatre seating chart guide, just for you.

The middle seats in the Orchestra section in rows B to E are widely regarded as the best in the house since they are not too close to the stage and aren’t too far back either. Within the Mezzanine section, the middle seats in rows AA to CC are the most popular. These seats offer a great direct look at the stage and the elevation only heightens the view on offer. Since the Nederlander Theatre is not massive, the sightlines and acoustics are good from nearly every seat.

Which Seats/Section Offer the Best Value for Money?

Now that the best seats in Nederlander Theatre are covered, next comes the value for money seats. As you would expect, the front row seats we mentioned in the previous section are also the most expensive. If you don’t want to spend a lot for one Broadway ticket, we have the literal next best thing for you.

Seats in the middle Orchestra rows G-M are pretty decent and cost a lot less than the premium Orchestra seats. The last two rows DD and EE in the front Mezzanine section are also value for money considering the clean view on offer and the price. In the rear Mezzanine section, middle seats in the first four rows FF to JJ are pretty reasonable for the price of the ticket. Again, since the Nederlander Theatre is not the biggest theatre in the Broadway circuit, there is no such thing as a bad seat.
