  • Jebel Jais Bungee Jump is one of the adventure park’s upcoming attractions in early 2020. The 23-meter high controlled drop is ideal for thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies. The jump is a great attraction for experienced jumpers and first-timers alike.
  • The Bull Maze is also coming in 2020. The 35-obstacle course lets you have fun navigating a maze 10 meters above the ground, including rope swings, swinging loops, and wobbly bridges split into two levels. Up to 15 people can enter the maze at once for 1 hour.
  • The Bear Grylls Survival Academy is another must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts. Learn to survive in the toughest terrains with the guidance of seasoned professionals. Adults and families can sign up for a half-day, 1-day and 2-day course - all of which offer a range of survival and adventure tasks.

Getting to Jebel Jais

Here are the best ways to get to Jebel Jais:

1. Taxi: The mountain range of Ras Al-Khaimah is around 60 km away from Jebel Jais, making a taxi a viable option for travelers and locals alike. Those who are up for a long road trip and enjoy looking at landscape views pass by can choose to take a taxi. Dubai is approximately 256.5 km by road from Jebel Jais and a taxi could be an option for visitors.

2. Metro: If a private car is not an option, you could always use a combination of the metro, bus and taxi to reach Jebel Jais. Visitors from Dubai can get onboard the Red Line at the Nakheel Metro Station and get off at the Dubai Deira Terminal. Hop onto buses C-19, C19, or C26 to travel to the nearest stop (Ras al Khaimah Bus Station) and take a taxi from there.

3. Bus: Several bus services are available for visitors from Dubai. Bus 17, C-19 and C-26 are the main buses that ply to Ras al Khaimah bus station from within the metropolis. These buses cost around 20 to 25 AED and could take up to 2 hours. Visitors can take an hour-long taxi from the bus station.

4. Shuttles: There are regular shuttle buses from Ras Al Khaimah City, Al Hamra area and Al Marjan Island to Jebel Jais daily for a fee of around 20 AED. Visit diverse ecosystems through 6 unique trails at Jebel Jais with a cumulative distance of 16km. The trails are of varying difficulties and split across the lower and upper segments of Jebel Jais. Best Time to Visit


We recommend visiting Jebel Jais between November to April as the summers in the UAE can be too hot to handle while doing outdoor activities. If you do visit Jebel Jais in the winter, carry extra jackets and necessary equipment as the temperature in the mountains could drop down to -3°C.

If you do plan to camp at Jebel Jais, make sure to fuel up your car and load up on adequate snacks and water. The peak closes at 5 pm and the restaurants, cafes and other amenities close along with it. So those who plan to stay overnight should plan accordingly and stock up at Ras al Khaimah.
