About Alexandra Palace

Located between Muswell Hill and Wood Green, Alexandra Palace is a graded entertainment venue in London. The building stands on the site of Tottenham Wood (and later Tottenham Wood Farm), making it significant in English history. Alexandra Palace was first built in 1873 by John Johnson and Alfred Meeson. Two weeks after the opening, a fire occurred, leading to the building being rebuilt by Johnson.

The Great Hall and West Hall are generally employed for exhibitions, conferences and music concerts. Alexandra Palace is not an entertainment and sports venue though. There is also a pub, palm court and ice rink located inside. In 2013, The park inside Alexandra Palace was certified a Local Nature Reserve, making a visit to this venue an even more special experience.
