Stalls

The Stalls constitute the first and closest seating section to the stage. While it isn’t divided into further sections, there are two aisles separating the back section, starting from row HH. This section has 25 rows in total, making it the biggest seating area within the theatre.

The overhang of the dress circle blocks the top of the stage from row L onwards, but the view from these seats are clear and unrestricted. Rows T-Y are a little cheaper, due to the overhang of the dress circle. Boxes C and F are also priced reasonably, as you need to lean quite a bit to get a decent view of the stage.

Dress Circle

Unlike the stalls, the dress circle’s layout is much simpler, forming a rectangular shape with no breaks or aisles. The rows are titled from A and end with M, bringing the total to 12. This section has an excellent rake, allowing for a great view from most seats.

There is a clear view that is perfect for large-scale musicals such as TINA: The Tina Turner Musical, ensuring you won’t miss any details. To get the best views in the theatre, try getting centre seats in rows D and E.

Grand Circle

Furthest away from the stage is the grand circle. While this section is also structured similarly to the Dress Circle, it has an aisle after the third row which segregates the section into two parts. There are only 11 rows in this section (A-L), making it the smallest seating section in the theatre. While the grand circle may feel distant from the stage, seats in rows A-C offer clear, unrestricted views of the stage.

The best view of the stage is from the first half of the stalls section, starting row B. In the dress circle section, row A, seats 8-26 are amongst the best.

Which seats offer the best value for money?

If you’re looking for a great time on West End but have budgetary restrictions, we have got you covered. The best value for money seats are seats 1-6 and 28-33 in row A of the dress circle as they are often discounted because they follow the curve of the balcony and face the stage side-on. They are the least affected seats in the price reduction, so if you don’t mind having a slightly rounded view of the stage these seats may be a bargain.
