We all have our favorite TV shows. You know – the one that’s already had its finale years ago, yet you continue to watch reruns of its best episodes over and over. Because let’s face it, no matter how many times you watch Carrie and the girl’s escapades in NYC, or dive into the mafia crime world of Tony Soprano… classics just never get old. And of course, there’s always gotta be a currently-running show you’re obsessed with. The one that you and your bff gossip about as if the main characters are a part of your immediate social circle. (Yes, Jon [Snow] and I are absolutely on a first-name basis.)

From Northern Ireland to Iceland, Spain to Croatia – GOT has been filmed in some of the world’s most beautiful and unique locations. Astapor, the home of the Unsullied, is no exception. Scenes featuring this great city-state of Slaver’s Bay were shot in the coastal town of Essaouira, Morocco.

Located on 139 N 7th St., it’s  actually called 16 Handles.

So maybe don’t push your luck too far by asking for a tour of the inside… I’d suggest you just stick to the view from the sidewalk.

Featured in the finale of The Sopranos, Holsten’s Brookdale Confectionery Ice Cream Parlour is located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Story has it that producer, David Chase, decided on Holsten’s because of the memories he had there when he himself grew up in New Jersey. There are also quite a few famous Sopranos hotspots in New York City, and you can visit them all in an amazing guided tour

Seinfeld’s notorious Monk’s Cafe is actually Tom’s Restaurant. It’s located on the corner of West 112th Street and Broadway in New York. However, only the exterior shots were filmed here. The scenes inside were recorded on a soundstage. (An interesting fact for you: Throughout the show’s run, the chance to sit in the first booth — and thus be included in a Seinfeld scene — was auctioned off for charity.)
